  • For your pet’s comfort during travel, we encourage you to include a favourite blanket, soft toy, or old T-shirt with your scent which we will place in their travel container
  • Chemical and other strong sedatives are NOT ALLOWED
  • Mild herbal remedies such as Rescue, CalmEze, catnip spray or other valerian root extracts are permitted

Please inform your Petwings consultant of any brachycephalic (snub nose) pets traveling as certain airline, routing and seasonal restrictions may apply.

Pets must have been continuously resident in South Africa for a minimum period of six (6) months.

If all of this sounds daunting, Petwings can do just about everything for you!

We’ve been transporting pets world-wide for years – here’s what some of our many happy clients have to say about us seeing our Keringa references.

NB: Due to the fact that airline and country protocols change often, we cannot be held responsible for errors, omissions, or alterations/changes. That said, Petwings pet travel agents keep up-to-date and are the best source of current rules and regulations – and they are friendly and helpful too!

TRAVELLING PETS FROM JOHANNESBURG TO MAURITIUS

Our travel quotations are only approximate and are based on similar sized pets. Once your pet is at Keringa International, we will double-check your pets’ measurements.  Should your pet/s require a different size travel container, we will adjust your account accordingly and all costs will need to be paid prior to your pets’ departure. Please note that the airlines control the cargo rates, which fluctuate.  Airlines do not allow us to pay for flights in advance.

“There is hardly anything in the world that someone cannot do a little worse and sell a little cheaper, and the people who consider price alone are that person’s lawful prey.” John Ruskin, teacher, artist and visionary.

With us you pay for exceptional pet care and you get it.  You pay for first-class food and your pets get it.  You pay for and receive the best of everything that money can buy for them, because they deserve it.  Nothing less would be right for them because they are your children.  And we’ve been going the extra mile and doing it all for more than 48 years, so it must be right.  Right?
